Just remember there are people out there that are starting out further behind you and have less than you that will buy one day.

I have lived in Puerto Rico since 2020 and I have invested in fix & flips, bed & breakfasts (2), a hotel, a triplex, a villa, a commercial complex and a large land development.   

It will still be a period of time before rates start to come down further and it will take months before it is felt on the for sale market.

I have been investing for awhile but have only recently started picking up properties that I know will not cashflow because of the prices in the area I invest (Dallas/Fort Worth) and the higher rates.I am still picking them up because it will still pay down debt and provide me with depreciation that I can use to offset my flipping and lending income.

It is for all stages of business including Start Ups, if you’re In the Growth and Development stage, and even if you’re winding down and working towards selling/retiring.

there is an advantage to being hands on when you start. 

Hello all,I am interested in beginning my investment journey within the next 6- 8 months and start by building my network and learning from people that have already done it.

(I bought it 3 years ago)I'm trying to see how long in the future I will need to do another gut renovation, so I can start saving up some money toward it.Things are in pretty good shape.

This will be around 150k, but down in a 5-6 years this project should help triple (or more) that amount invested when its time to sell the house.I would use 50k from selling stock and the rest from the HELOC, starting paying right away, up to 1200 per month or so.
