@Jake Fugman I don't have any referrals in the space you're looking for but you can just punch in "YOUR CITY or AREA" plus "ATTORNEY" into the search window above and check out a few people's past endorsements to get a broader scope of professionals and to zero in on someone that fits your ticket.

What's key here is that the most significant tenant pool in these areas are working professionals/grad students who are being outpriced in Back Bay, Southie, South End, North End.

Like adam mentioned coming from commercial real estate or other backgrounds notes may seem like a cup of tea since many in those backgrounds have dealt with real estate professionals and know what IRR is and how to run a financial model.

But at least you can know what you are getting into.As @Brian Adzadi pointed out, you want to make sure it is up to code, any renovations were properly permitted and professionally done, and that there are no violations that can surprise you down the road.
