Every dollar I have set for rent and collect for rent is accounted for in my business.

I was a bit discouraged today, the first, when the ACH withdrawal hit and the collection number was not great.  

Here’s the big difference however...When a Tenant uses a Credit Card to pay rent they are on the ‘hook’ for the payment (if you call paying as agreed a ‘hook’)... there is no getting around it… if they place ‘chargeback’ it can easily be held up in court at a later date to force them to comply and pay their debt to the LL... if they fail to make their payment to their CC company... they are sent to collections... in other words...

However, in some states, there are still ways to collect from the owner, if they're engaging in this practice.

@Troy Winkler Hi Troy.In light of the daily situation of shelter in place orders and people in fear of contact from social distancing, we came up with a fast solution to showing vacant, or even occupied units to get them back into rent-collecting inventory.

Is anyone familiar with any laws they've passed either federally or in PA having to do with rent collections?

I also own 21 SFHs and am a little nervous about collecting rents for the next several months.
