Hi I need to switch loans I owe $56k on my rental property I had a tenant evicted and now I AM IN HOT WATER WITH THE MORTGAGE HANDLER!

I am under contract on a MF property with water damage from a burst pipe that also happened to allegedly crack the foundation, causing flooding to a neighboring property.

It is attached to city water and sewer and the lot is part of the package.

I agreed, stating that hot water in some capacity is a required living condition.To repair the HVAC, piping had to be redone in the walls, including walls in the tenant’s room.

I am new to this so I am barely dipping my foot in the water but I hear so many great stories I feel like I have to give it a shot.

It might help you sell the house since you can indicate that it has been upgraded.I would do what is necessary but not go overboard.If you have galvanized, replacing the water line from the street to the house makes a hug improvement on water pressure as galvanized will rust and restrict the flow of water over time.I believable you just need to have working plumbing with good water pressure for the appraisal.I would be more worried about plumbing issues or old piping showing up on a buyers inspection than it affecting an appraisal.

I am just about finished going through a roughly 2 year debacle with the local water company here (MDC).
