I own a property with two duplexes on one parcel and another with three houses on one parcel. 

I first bought a duplex in Clarence for 130k in 2011.

Landlord wants to sell 4 properties. 3 are Duplex, the other single family.

Hi I am looking to rent out a room in my condo in California and have a few questions.

I have a condo in Huntington Beach, ca that I currently rent out for 2500 a month.

I’m currently trying to find a duplex around my area that I can “househack” and dip my toes in the water of real estate.

I’m holding off signing papers to this condo I won at auction until I figure out if the water damage is going to empty my pockets.

Ive met so many property owners who bought condos in Fenway about 30 years ago for $50,000 and their condos are now worth $500,000 each or more.

But if I put a kitchen, then it becomes a duplex, so I gotta either do it where it is zoned in a duplex or have the city's approval.

Sadly, living in Manhattan and California all my early working years and through my 20's (ridiculous rents and millennial lifestyle...) has left me with little opportunity to save, let alone save anything remotely close enough to a downpayment in areas where studios and 1 bdrms start at well over half a million dollars...This being said, I'm very interested in learning as much as I can about real estate (especially on the smaller scale - such as SFH and perhaps duplexes...).
