Just to throw my 2 cents in- my daughter was interning at the NIH in Bethesda and I drove her to the MARC at Penn station.

I have my beautiful wife and soon to be daughter at the beginning of next year.

My daughter loves the house hunting experience! 

I don't regret all the life-consuming work I put into single family homes and property management because it was how I HAD to get started (ZERO $ CAPITAL and total care responsibility for our long awaited newborn daughter back in 1998)IF I had the capital back then, I probably would have done maybe 2 rehabs / rentals / mgmt. instead of 300.

The previous owner of the home passed away and left it to her daughter who lives across the country.

As for myself, I have an 8 yr old daughter, 1 yr old son, and another girl on the way and education and life experiences are huge for me and my wife.

I may have to wait till the following one as I recently gave birth, but am using the downtime of when my daughter naps to figure out how I can get started with real estate investing and do as much research as possible.

(network and resources are huge)The process was grueling and at times i wanted to quit because maybe that 7000 was worth it. all in all i finished the fence, in material i spent 2700 and i paid a highschool kid 200 bucks to finish putting my middle screws in along the whole fence due to running out of time with the birth of my daughter!

So, I asked to be let in.This morning I met the daughter at the house.

I'd love to help my two daughters buy a home using the house-hacking method and want to know if they can use the rent from room rentals to help them qualify for the loan, whether FHA Loan or otherwise?
