A few other basic things are: check water pressure on sinks, light-switches work, heaters work, problems of mold in bathrooms, and mold/water damage around windows and door openings (especially windows if they are not vinyl).

Something to keep in mind too, the city recently finished a light rail that runs along the backside of UH (Scott St.) that cuts through to EaDo and basically in the heart of third ward.Down along Elgin & 59/288 the city should be wrapping up a $30 million rehab project for emancipation park this month.
