We are converting our house into a rental property and there is an interior security camera (part of a NEST system) in the main living area Is there any reason I have to remove it when tenants occupy the property?

The agreement I signed with the real-estate (property management company) says the Broker will maintain security deposits received from tenants in a trust account and will account to the tenants for the security deposits. 

I have been doing deals for the past 5-6 years, ranging from SFH, to Multi, to MHP, to storage, to private money... 

So long as you have the capital available for the down payment, reserves, etc. and financing already secured -I'd say this looks like a home run.

Property management had found a tenant that met screening, and today tenant deposited $50 less than what was posted as security deposit.

You may be able to find a private money individual who can move a little faster but there are a couple other parties outside of the lender that also cause delays.

The prior owner's mortgage company "secured the property", even though we closed a week ago.
