I allow small dogs and do not charge pet rent but had an applicant mention her ESA animal and am wondering how I handle that in a compliant manner.

Plus they kept the pet fees and a bunch of other buckle and diming  charges.

In my area of CA it typically first month and a deposit worth at least 1 month rent plus any pets etc.
