There is more demand for pet-friendly housing than there is supply, and many animals are getting euthanized (because of people with the above mentality) as a result.  

Do you want someone with a victim mentality in your rental.  

A professional-- Doctor or Psych or even a Social Worker... other mental health/health professional should sign a letter stating that the disability is real-- look for some form of "Certification of need of Reasonable Accommodation."  

That would be a doctor or someone in the mental health field.Both of these need to be accepted under a no pet policy.

Keep the units in good shape and they will love you, while you forever chase rents and evicted monthly.Your biggest problem is cost, your going to run into market constraints as you have to buy bottom dollar buildings, and compete with others who are buying the same buildings but making larger profits as they upped the rents, or flipped the units for big cash.There are poor people due to low education, and there is even more poor people due to mental health issues.

We want to pursue an investment mentality.  

So lets dispense with the victim-hood mentality. 

It has proven to be effective in achieving results for owners and maintains a "teammate" mentality with the tenants and owners alike.Ultimately, it comes down to what makes you comfortable.  

Once you're in a place that knows the truth, you'll feel so much better mentally and emotionally because you won't feel like you always have to be on guard about hiding something.
