B/c they are so small, you do some very luxurious designs and finishing and charge a premium for the space.  

I was unable to start making offers during that time because we needed to first save more capital and second unload our primary residence (luxury condo that had the potential to turn into an albatross since other units were selling much lower than they were purchased for and we needed to sell that before moving forward in case we needed to bring cash to close).

We are frustrated that we have been paying for a luxury home without basic working features.

Maybe a luxury house hack so that she's getting more, not letting go of what she currently perceives she has?

They are now thrilled to have a luxurious shower and I am giddy that the value of my place went up :)

Paying on time and not being a headache is a tenant's contractual obligation, not a bonus/luxury for me.I like to think of myself as a reasonable person, but the benevolence only goes so far until it turns into charity.

But not everyone will want to live in a "luxury apartment building" - I think there are good days ahead for you!

There is a dishwasher, there isn't a garage (but garages not so common here) but there is a sizeable exterior shed for storage.There aren't a lot of 3 bed homes on the market nearby....there are some luxury apartments for 1400, there are some houses closer to the Univ but also smaller that are like 1600-1800.

-polished concrete (they even get this in luxury developments now...)-3-part epoxy (not at home depot lowes);  i think somebody from CO posted about it...

I do not have the luxury of flying to FL to sign a lease in person.
