And explicity says, that a 1099 contractor employ is not consider a regular employ.Here is the law:Licensure Exemption — Regular Employee of Owner :A real estate broker’s license is required to manage property owned by another, for a fee or other valuable consideration.

Of course, unless you are talking about an actual major company with staff/employees in which case my post here is moot...The comment you referenced makes sense to me when its a smaller developer. 

I'm no attorney but such laws require landlords (and employers, etc.) to "reasonably accommodate" tenants (or employees) who have a disability.

But the business practice is different.If you're an employer and one of you employee never come to the office.
