The upset price is usually the amount of the mortgage outstanding, plus interest, attorneys fees, property maintenance and inspection fees... anything the bank had to spend on the owner's behalf, including taxes and insurance, so it's hard to guess in advance, but Monmouth always lists upset prices online well in advance of the auctions.
