We believed that the main portion of that fee would go towards the tax strategy portion where your designated ‘tax team’ would help you create a customized ‘tax strategy plan’ to minimize your taxes moving forward, while the tax preparation for a simple portfolio like ours was thought to cost no more than $2k of the total fee.

The first tax benefit of real estate is that the cash-flow and appreciation grow tax free(in general).Cash flow will likely be offset by depreciation and appreciation is not taxed.If you are making 8% on real estate(combined cash flow and appreciation), you money will double  in 9 years.If you make 12% on real estate, your money will double in 6 years.There are other strategies in real estate(time involved in real estate) where you can create 'paper-losses' to decrease your W-2 wages, interest, dividends.I normally don't like this route too much as I think people can focus their time and attention more on other tasks that can generate a higher hourly return.Best of luck.

Christian Gibbs Tenant damaged car on repair of Septic

The contractor filled it back up with dirt but notified me we cannot re - asphalt that part of the driveway till the weather gets better and the soil settles.Tenant told me that the dirt was settling down a bit creating a slight ditch .I asked for pictures and but they never sent .Then two days later at midnight their car got stuck in the ditch and now they are saying they are going to be  late on rent since car cost $750 to get towed out .
