Even if you can, what kind of tenant would you be drawing?

I am in the same scenario, pick your poison kind of situation.

@Tracy BogieYou can kind of get in the neighborhood of where you may want to be just by looking at what the "market" money costs actually are. 

Portland has fairly regular meetups of some kind or another so if you’re up this way checking in on your properties, you’ll likely be able to find something (or at least a couple members to have coffee with).

They all seem to be in decent repair (and i would obviously get inspections) but what is initially giving me pause is that they are all 80 to 100 years old. 100 year old houses are common in my area, but it begs the question, how old is to old?

I receive no payment of any kind for referring clients to him. 

Anyhow, there are some great people there doing all kinds of real estate, and I have learned so much from them.

If you have seen only one kind of market how do you know how to handle a different one?
