One of the nice things about a fixed 30 year mortgage is that it is a great inflation hedge.

I'm a first-time homebuyer interested in buying a house that's in a different state per the pictures online from the outside to the inside appears it to be in great condition ( great priceas well), however it's been on the market for 230 days. 

One of my issues is I am not sure what the neighborhoods are like at the properties I find on-line.  

I wanted to get your opinion on the various property management software / online portals. 

This would be mainly a homestead purchase but I am hoping the grove could act as a supplement to the mortgage.

so if you could either 1. rent for $2000 a month, or 2. have a $3000 a month mortgage + $1200 rent coming in, you still house hack. 

It’s brilliant, I just can’t work out the fine details because of my lack of knowledge on specifics on how mortgages are regulated.

I just bought my second house in 2023 and currently living in it while renting out rooms to help cover the mortgage.
