It wasn’t until I received some pay raises and my income started to really grow that I got to thinking of investment opportunities again and something reminded me to throw on a podcast episode of BP while on a long drive.

I would suggest buying replacement policies in the beginning and simply increasing the deductible to 2500, 5k and then 10k as you grow and can take on more risk.

I had a lot of connections with realtors, plus the market was growing strong in Raleigh-Durham area.

I am looking for a property that I can do some work on but that is also in a decent area that is growing. 

From here we're looking to grow our portfolio with a few additional small multifamily properties over the next couple of years.
