We're looking at Murrietta (about 45 minutes southeast of us) as a beautiful 2,000+ sqft.

If not I know that it will be the end of the relationship with my wife and I don't want our five year old son to witness all of the fighting and arguing leading up to our inevitable divorce.

I just wanted to bear witness to what I see as the truth here and maybe ease your concern that it's all wall-to-wall thieves everywhere.

The beauty of the real estate business is that you typically won't have a "boss" telling you that you HAVE to take on more clients.  

I'm originally from Seattle, but currently live in Houston with my husband (who is originally from Detroit), our beautiful 1-year old daughter, and our two scruffy terrier-mix-mutts.

I wish I could keep this beauty..but just found out it belongs to the maintenance guy for helping tenants move out since the property doesn't have a golf cart.

What you should pragmatically expect instead is that you'll hire a contractor who offers you a so-so price and promises you the earth and sky, shows you beautiful photos of work he's supposedly done in the past, but ends up turning in something that doesn't quite meet your expectations or design vision.
