That approval process requires business tax returns, reserve requirements, Minimum of (2) years in business, ability to submit a blue print, and cost analysis along with several other items.The bank also does not give you the money to start they require the work be done in phases in order to pay the builer/GC in draws.

FYI; the CSLB defines a contractor as 1 who is proficient at writing a contract to execute the work "designed by others" Think about that for a minute, the only way to bid work accurately is from blue prints.
