Just a quick FYI, a bank loans out say 1 million dollars a month....a low number but bear with me....a percentage of those loans have to be in the small bracket under 100k then another percentage is between 101 k and 500 k and then there are loans over that say 501 k to 1 million.

My view is that a small percentage of properties that are normal (nothing that cannot be addressed wrong with it) make to the auction.I do not believe there is any method to know which RE will be pulled prior to auction.

There is a chance your profits could be crushed with a bad tenant, but overall if vacancy is your perceived risk it may be worthwhile bumping up that percentage in your calculation.

My wife gets "matching" at work too, so I still contribute...just for the free money.For the most part though, I try to avoid the stock market...or anything else where the "thermometer" for success/failure, is based on percentages instead of dollars.
