Sounds like a good plan to follow.Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.I am considering shutting down my vacation rental for a couple months or only renting to instate renters.I have turned off instant booking on both Homeaway and Airbnb to prevent people from hot spots renting per the SC governor's orders.I don't want to perpetuate the problem at the sake of making a buck.

I spoke to a few property management firms and said that the rental market is “hot” and can lease my home in 30 days (my home is 15 yrs old, also in good neighborhood with great schools 10/10).Question:  Would it make sense to take the plunge in this volatile market and buy a pre-owned home and rent our existing home?

The saving grace of this home, all the natural woodwork was kept in remarkable condition AND since the home is in the flight path of the airport, 5 years ago Mitchell International came in and replaced all the windows, exterior doors, installed 2 new furnaces, 2 new central air units, basement dehumidifiers, and water heaters.
