Are you going to hire someone to manage?

I have an estate property in East Flat Bush which I am interviewing and hiring a real estate broker to list and sell for the estate attorney.The property needs updating.  

@Patrick Britton I think you will find this varies everywhere...all my assumptions on our Inn were at 30% occupancy...if it performs at 70%, we'll be golden...There is a site called Air DNA that has this data for your area...paid of course, but good user interface for sure.

Hiring and dealing with contractors or subs? 

now if the LLc hires a plumber and he screws up the water heater and it explodes and hurts someone you didn't do a personal act so they can only go after the LLC assets. 

Even if you manage yourself it is always nice to have that expense there in the event you hire a manager. 

I am active duty enlisted Air Force, e4 making 3200ish a month.

If the tenant wants a clean carpet to be even cleaner they can either hire someone to do it or clean it themselves (they can rent a machine and it would not cost them much).Good luck.

Would hiring a  lawyer be cost efficient for something like this? 

If the tank is an issue, you could likely hire someone to come in and remove it.
