Hi BP, I'm looking for a real estate agent who is familiar with short term rentals/vacation rental market in the Surf City, Top Sail, N Top Sail Beach, NC.

Same in other industries (In N Out Burger, etc). 

Rachel N. lots of people do advise starting small, which is a perfectly fine approach. i also hear lots of people saying their biggest regret was not starting bigger. since i have a mentor, and other local investors i’ve built relationships with through networking, to walk me through it I figure I might as well aim a little larger and go after a medium sized multifamily as my first deal since i have the resources.

I do not understand how in good conscious you can indicate a need to look outside CA for good returns when statistically San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and San Francisco each beat the best mid west locale for 5 years, 15 years, 20 years, and every amount of years between 20 and 50 years for financed buy n hold properties.

I am a member of my state's apartment owner's association, which keeps me updated on changes in the law and Fair Housing  -- and I update my rental agreements to keep up with changes n the law. 

It's the same pitch over n over again.Had some meetups here, but looks like they died out.
