We are now talking to the mortgage lender (the same lender for the three replacement properties) about securing a significant line of credit using the apartments as collateral so we can do some other short terms deals with "cash purchases" then refi, etc.Are there any considerations or gotchas/ endangerment with this idea the regarding the original 1031 exchange?

@Ben Kirchner All I can say is to stay away from 2-10 Home Warranty group...they are terrible too. 

@Katie Stewart @Marty Bauer - I'm referring to extra information outside of a credit report such as a driver's license. 

Long story short I’m being sued by the plaintiff over lawyer refusing to credit the seller for taxes supposedly paid.

It’ll be a $450K conventional 30 year with a loan to-value-ratio of 65%.My credit scores are 717, 715, and 705.

The bank said we could do 80% LTV, I would then use the funds to pay off some personal debt (credit card/ car note) which is around $400 in payments a month and then have 25-30k left over to put as down payment on another SF rental.

That's why you always collect information about where they work, bank, get credit reports, etc, so you have something to pursue.

I currently have a high 700 credit score rating, and have worked very hard to maintain it.
