The older multi units that I was referring to were in Janesville and quite a bit cheaper ($110-120k).

I am new to investing in the Hampton Roads area and was looking for some references for good mortgage brokers and/or recommendations for property management companies in the area.

Ask for references and actually speak to those investors.Its probably a good idea to let people here know who you are wanting to buy from so you can get opinions from others.
