That is only going to go on for so long.I am old enough to remember when interest rates were something like 18%, I remember a decade or so later buying my first house on an adjustable rate of 10.6%, and was ecstatic at how low the rate was.As far as real inflation, a big reason for low inflation over the last 20-30 years has been the offshoring of manufacturing to emerging markets like China and India.
