Fort Wayne investors, I am looking for a CPA and/or Financial Planner in our area who understands real estate investors and can help me strategize my taxes and plan for early retirement.  

Those aren't exactly something the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has made optional...My BS detector is starting to activate.

@Tom Pignatello  My experience has been to at least send over the application and your financials first to see if the lender is interested in working with you.

After a year to 18 months, we'll look at a sale if the market is still crazy, or also consider a refi into fannie/freddie debt.   

Condos, in general, are dependent on the financial stability of all of the owners.  

@Tony Silvas I think part of the problem is that you are looking at this purely from a financial point of view and not the emotional part.

I’ve worked in varying capacities as a financial analyst, software engineering & product design instructor, & senior design engineer with growing startups to some of the biggest companies out there.

Course there is a flip side to this which is that frankly if you follow the market I think its clear that the "crowd" really likes debt investments despite what one could argue if the greater risk of these investments lately.

What should I have in order (financially) before starting REI?
