Can you see obvious items needing repair (like the roof) when driving by?

If the house is small enough (~100-1200 SFQT )  just a drive by could be enough as well combining in inside pictures.

Many factors go into a decision like this for me.

Hey BP Family,I was driving through my city and saw a boarded up 5plex.

Less than an hour of work.If someone can point me to someone who could do this in the next week or two, that would be great.It's not worth a six hour roundtrip drive for us- just for this hole.

One had me go to the office, fill out papers, sign papers, took $100 start up fee from me then told me "we ll drive to the addresses and let you know if we can do it" SMH. 

Drive around these areas at different times to see what's going on.

I'm hoping for wholesalers to have something I'd like, but am also considering doing Driving for Dollars, check Craigslist for landlords who might want to sell (and don't know it until I ask), foreclosures (which also scare me), etc. 

On a personal note, while the home has a cool factor to it, the interior flow of these homes can be a little disjointed  due to the shape and I would spend a lot of time on the design to minimize these issues if possible. 

While out driving today I found a 1083sf 3 bed 1 bath home for sale $8,900 or best offer.
