@Cody Jensen I just attended a session with Michelle Brady of Equity Trust at my local REIA meetup, and her company seemed reputable and a go-to resource for those interested in using self-directed IRAs to fund their real estate investing.

Local REI is a great resource.

This community is such a supportive resource, and the opportunities for education are rich.

Its a matter of how much time do you have, resources, holding costs etc.. etc..

I understand this is not professional advice or anything like that, but I have to make quick decisions on an auction property and BP is a great resource for more insight / other folks take on it.How would you seal something like this up, just bolt a cover over it, or actually fill it in? 

---I've read several of the great resources on BP and I feel like I have a working understanding of NOI. 

The experienced RE investor likely has more resources (mostly money), better contacts, and more experience (experience evaluating properties, experience with various issues/repairs, etc).
