If those lots are not counted in your Certificate of Zoning, you could appeal that they are wrong on the count (but you'll need a municipal lawyer to represent you) or you could go buy a $500 travel trailer and put that on the lot and see if you can get a city approval for electric hook-up (and if not, you're back to the attorney again).

Although, if you have to raise the rent on a unit that is currently occupied in order to make the deal work, I would not count on raising the rent for that unit, and see if the deal still works.

I have been told that this doesn't count (my words), legally, according to Alabama state law.If the result of this correspondence is a Quitclaim Deed (or other outcome), is that outcome compromised in some way because we used email to get to it, even if the outcome is properly executed and, itself, legal?
