Throughout the next year or so I wanted to purchase other properties, but like most people never took any action, including on a possibly amazing opportunity directly next door to me with a house which had signs on it for a year to a year and a half and was vacant.

The wealth of information available and ability to connect with other investors that have the same drive is quite amazing. 

I do feel terrible displacing a bunch of people (when rents are so high)… but this is business so i need to “woman up” I suppose & not get emotionally invested. 

I also heard a podcast with a woman that purchased a foreclosure for $70,000 only to discover it had a $120,000 lien that she couldn't afford, so she lost the property and her $70,000.People can be successful, but you need to really educate yourself on what to expect, how to research the property, etc.

I purchased an amazing country property at a pretty cheap price.
