That being said, I've decided to add a few trips (Upstate NY, PA) to my weekend calendar over the course of the next 4 weeks, to get a sense what these markets have to offer.

Not a bad option.Chicago has serious problems in terms of government, population loss, and I don't like the weather there, so I'd rank it as the bottom of the 3, even though I enjoyed every trip I took there.
