Hey Lance, I'm a broker and I've worked with quite a few out of state investors helping them secure property from a distance.

And all I am saying is that if I travel to my rental for a necessary and legitimate business reason and I stay a few extra days or even a month  the flight or travel expense to and from the location  IS deductible. 

Have you checked expected STR numbers on the location?
