Yea, but old house, I had to get furniture through the WINDOWS on 2nd and 3rd floor (stairways very narrow).

Thanks for brining that up; I do remember the average daily balance having some positive impact, but wasn't it a trivial amount over the life of the loan that it added up to shorten the mortgage by a month or two over the entire 30 years of the loan and that was with a narrow spread between the mortgage and HELOC rate?
