Here are my thoughts in no particular order: 1. 95 % of properties are not deals, it’s the job of an RE investor to find/make deals2.

I am all for capitalizing on good deals, but particularly if it means selling assets that you wouldn't have otherwise been contemplating selling, just to try to time this market, is a risky play in my eyes.

Although I am not a rootologist, I wanted to chime in and note that Philadelphia License and Inspections has been particularly harsh regarding building foundation assessments over the last year.

Is there any reason why this would be a bad idea, particularly in light of a potential downturn?

I was wondering - is there a particularly good website for finding foreclosure / REO / short-sale properties?

Italy in particular is giving us an idea of what happens once the disease is at community level.

I'm guessing it's not and it's getting rocked along with the rest of the market, so timing is rather moot particularly if they have 30+ years left in their investment window.
