@Arron Paulino The ultimate risk, though very unlikely, is that some owner/interested party was never Properly notified of the tax sale and if they make a successful appeal/challenge to the tax sale, they simply have to pay the original taxes owed plus some interest and fees to redeem the property and the Current owner, whoever that may be, is out anything above that amount that they paid for the property.

If you want to spend a little money, call a zoning consultant and ask them if they can study to see if he or she thinks the subdivision appeal will get approved.
