@Adine Mateo my vote would be to sell it and free up your VA eligibility to use somewhere else. 

A customer of mine mentioned she is selling off all of her properties as she is 80 and looking to enjoy the rest of her life task free. 

Should I invest in my own property, saving money on land costs, or purchase another property else where?

I’m curious—how have you found the costs associated with this type of funding compared to traditional hard money loans?
