I think the other made some good points here. 

The wall between the kitchen and living should be as open as possible (could be load bearing) but the wider that door way the better.

If the numbers don't meet your expectations, walk.

@Brett Deas  The issue with furnished finder we have is the radius of the searches and the data it pulls in for stats as well as matches for the property.
