I just want to know if there is anything that allows me to legally rent out a room, (To my brother) because I would prefer not to do it under the table.

Me and my brothers have decided it was time to sell a three family property we had in Brooklyn (no mortgage) and expand our real estate holdings into five multi family buildings in florida.

My brother in law lives in Baltimore and works at HUD.  

Hopefully in the next few years my younger brother will learn enough and take over management fully.

My brother is moving to Phoenix for a five year residency and my family is looking to buy a place that will serve as a long term rental investment.
