Same question for needing a CPA in the state you own your investment property in along with one in your own state to help file your taxes?

I have to resubmit with the required changes and the surveyor has informed me that a colleague filed a complaint against him with the State Board and he is on probation until it is cleared up and he can't sign-off on surveying work until then. 

However, I remember seeing an article on rent relief for landlords that would be sparked from paperwork filed by the tenant.

For example, we’re in the works right now with one property for an out of state investor that has a monthly rental yield of 1%, and the taxes next year on it will cap out at 2% and still be under $2500 total for the year, at $1050 semi annually when the homestead exemption is no longer on file.

If you are looking to possibly get into the real estate rental world with this property, you are probably going to want to hire a CPA anyways to make sure you're filing taxes correctly.

My family has owned a rental home on the Cape for as long as I can remember, and the past few years I have taken more of a leadership role in managing the property.With that said, I am looking for some guidance in making sure I help my family file the tax correctly online. 

In addition to the cost to register and annual fee, each state offers different anonymity - i.e. some states like DE will make very little information readily available to the public (or available only after payment of a fee), while other states, like FL will at a minimum include and make available to the public the annual filings and the original Articles of Organization on their website.
