It really depends on what skills they have and what services you need; something like a tradesman or tradeswoman may be quite useful in that respect.

I really enjoyed his intensity and his matter of fact ness (is that a word) with respect to landlording.

I find that prices come down and terms get much better when tenants are behind in rent, deferred maintenance comes home to roost or the property is vacant for a few months. use extreme due diligence in these matters. with respect to financing remember leverage works both ways.
