My roommate and I have been friends since high school and we want to split this house since we both do not have much money, but we want to invest in real estate. 

I'm thinking of buying a place in another state and officially making it my "home" (for tax purposes, for homeowner write-off, etc.) but the majority of my income will be from Idaho and my son will finish high school here. 

Different quality of schools, taxes, crime, etc.Good Luck.

If any developer knows of a good ROI in good school districts let me know ( Beach cities like Redondo etc.)

@Lamont Marable the entity transfer that they are referring to is going to be done away with soon..the counties and school districts know what is going on and want their tax money.

I am married with 2 kids ages 7 and 3, and currently in school for pursuing a BS in Project Management.

I plan on seeing about longer term short term rentals for any kind of traveling professionals for the small local hospital or the school district.

I’m halfway through my law enforcement career and I’ve noticed a lot of the guys coming back to work in the schools or grabbing part time jobs.

Schooling costs were outrageous.
