After tinkering with this for a few weeks, we decided to get some basic recommendations out there for the folks that are new to the site.

The inventory that most street level folks are playing with just aren't the same assets and those piggybacks are fleeting in their market share.

Sadly most prospective tenants still have never heard of heating water with the sun and quite a few figure it is a summer-time only thing.That said, the basic functioning of the system is simple to explain and most folks think its cool once you walk them through it.  

I guess some folks would rather keep their numbers private.

I am not in Detroit (however, I do go out there a occasionally since my husband is from there), but nowadays with email, google docs, FaceTime, you can work with almost everyone anywhere.

The upside of a busy road is that a yard sign will be seen by a lot of folks.  

Much like how an owner of a pawn shop has to tell folks that their stuff isn't worth as much as they think. 

We will be the only rental on the market in our area that has a private pool and for that reason I am concerned we may have a ton of interest from folks that may not qualify.

I would talk to the successful folks at the yacht club that you have a good rapport with and find out which ones have made their money in real estate.
