The $350 ended up going to another guy that I had to dig and find that (a) I don't have a relationship with, and (b) I don't trust as much.I've had TWO "frank" conversations about this type of thing:1) When I first interviewed this firm 2-3 years ago, after leaving the previous company which WAS a "tax focused" firm.

He's in his 80s. b) He is considering trying to convert it into a rental but as I mentioned, the house has a *ton* of deferred maintenance (inside and out), meaning that it is extremely unlikely he could actually rent it to a 3rd party (which is what he thinks he could do). c) Also, he's "house-rich" but "cash-poor".

My suggestion would be to hold if it’s performing unless there was an opportunity to trade up to a significantly better quality asset, like a B+/A location (GV, Summerlin)
