@Adam Ferro I financed my first property with a First Time Homebuyer program the state of Rhode Island, which has similar home prices to most of CO (my 1st was $270k), offers.

While the high taxes are a killer (I live on Long island where "low" taxes are around 10k" so I understand), there is something to say about someone paying down your mortgage and building up your equity.

I live on Long Island and most of the sites that I come across require a subscription.
