You must have monthly utilities, and taxes/insurance to pay, supplies to buy, monthly fee to the building, etc, so your net earnings for August must be less than $1114 if that is what you got paid out.

The sad thing is if the investors just invested in better areas and locations the equity growth usually way outpaces cash flow returns over time and the headache tends to be much less for the earned overall annual yield.As for searching for properties to buy it tends to be the same in every asset class.
