If you could find something relatively inexpensive around the downtown area for those wanting to experience the Riverwalk then it may be a great option.

We need help navigating this field and would greatly appriciate any help. 

I’m a real estate pro so material participation isn’t an issue, but the majority of my clients are in the $300k-$900k/yr gross household income range and so using STRs is not only the best way to get great ROI on real estate nowadays but the tax benefits are the primary driver for most including myself.  

House hacking seems to be a great option for this area, so I would love to learn more about this if people have experience on this topic.

Also this is probably a great tax shelter
