Since you must register as a foreign entity in the state you are doing business, then you have both state's fees and you lose that so-called privacy.

It seems like you have some options...go to Michigan, open a business account with a national bank, such as Wells Fargo, and direct all of your mail to your preferred address (confirm the bank will do this before the trip), or pay the $160 to SunBiz to register your Michigan LLC as a foreign entity operating in Fla.

I would love to find a foreign market with credit that I can access....but I think that will have to wait until I have more experience in the domestic market.
