Closed and rehabed this deal on the way and during a trip to Disney with the family by having a great team in place.

The cast and characters I worked amongst during that unforgettable and regrettable episode from 2004-2010 still gives me goose bumps...as much for the hilarious and entertaining personalities (a few of whom I still work with and speak too regularly) but equally for the remarkably unqualified experience most of us stepped onto the field with. 

We are making a trip to San Antonio, looking to meet with a few real estate professionals on the ground with SFR investment experience.

I have direct experience in other markets with receiving variances and know there are often trip wires or unexpected costs that one can run into.I was curious if anyone has direct experience with getting variances in Columbus and if there are anything things I should be on the look out for.

I will be making some weekend trips the next couple of months to tour in person and would appreciate any advice or fellow members who would be interested in sharing a beer and a stroll to point out in person some possibilities. 

Also, depending on your state laws, if you personally screw in your life (e.g. somebody trips and falls on your personal residence), the LLC is your asset so they could come sue you for your LLC's assets --- I believe that's call outside protection (or its inside, whatever).  

My concern is if on 9/30 the inspection day the Tenant is not there providing access and PM would just make an empty trip to the property but not able to inspect. 

Im taking a trip down to Oklahoma City this November. 

@Kim Meredith HamptonI usually make a trip by the unit maybe once a month or every other month it seems mainly just going in the common area/ kitchen to either check things over or if there was maintenance issue.

Find people with good character, common interests, investments, and don't let them go.
