The HUD inspector warned me that ALL property on the premise could be forced to be brought up to snuff if the FHA appraiser/inspector declares it.

I've been there, the JHA inspectors can and do nickel and dime you to death over little things.

Then I would go there and inspect every corner of every unit yourself, with your mentor, and a property inspector.

In FL, the inspector checks for “wind mitigation”.

So after the inspection (with a professional inspector) there seemed to be nothing wrong with roof/structure.

Originally, Seller signed contract and willing to do dye test and  repair sewer line if it fail the municipal inspection.Then came the contingency period,  I paid about $700 for home inspector , hvac and plumber come for home inspection.After that, the dye test failed, plumber quoted $5000 for sewer line repair. 

Hi Gang - I am under contract for a 7 unit property in Manchester, CT and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a home inspector they have used on a smaller commercial property?

I've seen occupancy inspectors make owners replace windows if they leak but if yours isn't...
